Carven

This collection from French fashion house, Carven has so many pieces worth coverting. The colours are neutral and the pieces are simple but still interesting. Here are a few of my favorite pieces from this collection...

My perfect party dress. I love how this dress looks like it was crafted out of a paper bag. The twist on the chest and the softness of the silk peter pan collar (my absolute favorite kind of collar) juxtaposes the crispiness of the dress perfectly. I would team this dress with a ballet bun or a sleek ponytail (if I had long hair) and red lips.

'If you like it then you should of put a ring on it'- This with a high waisted, black taffeta skirt. Keep the black heels and long grey socks.

Simple wool blend jersey dress. Can be worn with black tights and riding boots or black platform heels on an eve. Lovely when teamed with a collar (more on collars later).

Minus the baggy white gloves + Red lipstick= Perfect.

Simple flannel shirt dress. Great with black ankle boots and a fancy cardi, Like...

If you don't already own this jacket from H&Ms Garden Collection have a look for it on ebay, it is a wardrobe essential.

Down at the Bottom of the Garden

Amongst the birds and the bees....

When shopping in H+M yesterday I was frilled to discover their new Garden Collection. All the pieces in the range are made from recycled fabrics and have a bright floral theme. This collection could be mistaken for Valentino in places showing that environmentally responsible clothing need not be drab or hippy. I bought the red jacket and wore it with a vintage floral dress underneath, loved it.. I can't wait to buy the red dress and wear it with sandals and my cream Chloe wedges (from a thousand seasons ago). Prices range from £12-£35.

My red jacket.

My future red dress.
