For the best t-shirts around I like to go to The CITP in Huddersfield (The Connoussiuers Independent Trading Post) to pick up a couple of designs by the propietor, Benaiah Matheson.

Collecting Croc

When does something become a collection? I'm not too sure if it's when you search for similar items or when you like something and by chance end up with alot of it. Either way it seems I am accumulating mustard crocodile handbags very quickly. These bags aren't that common but I already have four to my name and if I was to see a large tote, a clutch or pretty much anything in between I would probably purchase it if it was the right price.

Number 2 was also a Huddersfield VM purchase but unlike the others this is from the crocs belly instead of the hide.

The highlight of any trip home for me is a visit to Huddersfield vintage market however Huddersfield's good vintage doesn't stop at the market. It also has great charity shops and vintage shops.

This has been a particularly successful trip home...

Huddersfield Vintage Market

One of the highlights of a trip home is visiting Huddersfield Second Hand Market. Under the 'Victorian cast iron glass roof canopy' is housed a mixture of antique jewelry, vintage clothing, silver ware and other objects from the past that are not over priced like in the shops and southern markets. Some of my favorite things have been purchased from this market. Another place worth visiting if you find yourself in Huddersfield on a tuesday or saturday.

The Finds...

A bit of nostalgia. A pie plate from 1928, it commemorates a fund raising event where they made a really big pie in aid of the Huddersfield Royal Infirmary.
