Carvela 'Grass' Wedges

I know I used these shoes in my last blog but I really do like them. What could be more lovely on your feet than a pair of red suede wedges? They look super high but the platform ensures comfort, therefore wearing these is just a balancing act for those of us who don't fear heights. I can think of so many outfit scenarios where these shoes could make an appearance.. My wardrobe needs them.

Look!

Wear with cropped skinny jeans, maxi dresses, mini dresses, smocks- The possibilities are endless!

The black is practical but lacks the charm of the red. They should have made the wedge suede as well on these ones.

Starry Eyed

I enjoy this dress immensely. I didn't think I would be getting on the star wagon but I can't deny the charms of this one and priced at £70 from Oasis it is well within my reach. I'll probably just wear it with...

My white Converse

OR

Purple Louboutins to add a bit of colour.

These platform wedges from Carvela could also be an interesting accompaniment, £150

Throwing a jumper over the dress to make it into a skirt could also be nice.. Just thinking out loud!

Kurt Geiger

This blog post is well over due but this seasons collection at Kurt Geiger is amazing. There are so many pairs of shoes to covert in what I think is their strongest collection in years.

My Favorites:

The best of the bunch, these also come in black leather. The perfect ode to colour blocking I had to stop myself from buying these. So pretty but so impractical.

Multi-coloured leather- I would wear these with a simple khaki shirt dress.

I'm not too sure of the shape when they're on but I love the use of feathers on these. They define the term, 'statement shoe'.

With ankle socks, pink nail polish or tights in winter. These shoes can be worn all year round.

Ankle Boots

Ankle boots with lace or crochet trimmed socks has been one of my favorite looks his year. Black ankle boots are fast becoming a wardrobe staple for me and i've always got my eye out for new pairs. Here are a few which i'm thinking about purchasing or have already purchased...

I wasn't sure how I felt about these boots at first but the have really grown on me. They're a nice, more interesting take on the black boot. Kurt Geiger, £390

I have just bought this pair from Urban Outfitters. I'm a big fan of wooden heels and the platform means these are comfortable enough for wearing during the day.

Zip on the outside with an angular wedge. Acne, £405

Suede lace up shoe boots with a corset up the heel Corset backs can look tacky but here it works.   Azzedine Alaia, £965
